The current wild hair is pillows. I got enough fabric to make twelve covers, got a box of pillows, and have completed six. I'm doing them with the underpainting technique that I use on everything. Acrylics on suede cloth. The first two sets of three pillows are meant to be put together.
Quite honestly, I feel like I'm being trained or something. I get some idea, rabidly put together the materials, turn out some things and immediately lose interest in ever doing it again, but I feel some little pat on the back, like well done. Wait to see what comes next. As always- as soon as something is completed, I see it full of personal messages. This time the goldfish said you don't swim with the school. The landscape was a right/left brain diagram, with the foreground in front of the stream being the right brain with some spiritual symbolism and a rabbit (my symbol for Meek) waiting in safety under a protective tree while a spiritual dove comes to land on a plant that is home to a lot of incarnate souls and a moth crosses over to the left brain side. fish in the stream flow between the two sides, and the left brain is inhabited by an unnatural cat sitting on a plush sofa with tea and a carpet, Other stuff too, but I wear out thinking of all of it. Then the flower pillows, obvious angel messengers in nature and the unfolding zinnia of many colors. The cave art pillows from 35,000 years ago, we knew it was beautiful then too.
