once more into the breach

or maybe that should be once more onto the beach...  in one of my busman's holiday paintings, I decided to paint my horse, Echo, on the beach where he has never been.  When finished I realized I was painting the way I felt when I was about eight and running on the beach, I pretended I was a horse right down to whinnying and shaking my head.  I was sure no one ever saw me, on the public beach, right in front of our motel with sixteen units that faced the beach. I told my sister about the painting, that I used to run on the beach.  She remembered it, and I was shocked. There is just no privacy. 

The little girl with the fairy or whatever it is - more private thoughts about the nature of life and creativity that I think are private and mine alone, but maybe not.
